Clyde W. Sims, Jr. is a landscape painter in oil and acrylics and a solo acoustic guitar performer who resides in Charleston, Illinois. He is a juried member ot the Prairie Art Alliance in Springfield, Illinois and exhibits his paintings in two different galliers in that city, the H.D. Smith Gallery and Gallery II. He is a graduate of the School of Art at Eastern Illinois University with an M.A. degree in Art History. His paintings are generally landscapes of Central Illinois, the Western and Eastern United States and Quebec and Nova Scotia in Canada. His style tends towards realism and impressionism.
Clyde is also a solo fingerstyle guitarist who plays a variety of music from classic, light rock and standard repetoires.
